Publication

This publication shares the results of a June 2016 seminar which took place in anticipation of the upcoming 2016-2017 UN Group of Governmental Experts (GGEs) meeting on cyberspace and cybersecurity. The topics discussed include 1) how Russia and the US perceive the GGC process and recent normative developments in the cyber domain; 2) how international law applies to cyberspace; 3) how to address the ongoing development of malicious cyber tools; 4) general normative developments in the cyber world; and 5) what sort of process or mechanism is appropriate to deal with the long-term international peace and security dimensions of cyberspace.
