Will Iran ultimately comply with its July 2015 nuclear agreement with the P5+1 nations? Will it continue to use militias and military proxies to expand its regional power? And will it maintain its ballistic missile testing program? As the authors of this text see it, the US should respond to these three challenges by actively seeking to deter Iran from pursuing its nuclear program, even if it requires establishing alternative agreements with Teheran. The authors further outline the importance of these potential policy changes for Israel and how they might align or not with Prime Minister Netanyahu’s objectives.
