This report discusses the consequences of the death of Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Zhvaniya and the resulting loss of balance of power within the government. The author reviews doubts over the circumstances of Zhvaniya's death, looks at the government of Zurab Nogaideli and identifies flaws in the government. He fears that the government could fracture and more extreme policies could be followed.
