This report criticizes the decision of the Australian government to buy new Air Warfare Destroyers (AWDs). The author states that the government has not properly considered the need or how to buy them before choosing a company to build them. He concludes that AWDs are not Australia’s defense priority and purchasing them would be a mistake.
