This paper examines production, trade and policies related to the seafood sector in India. It sheds light on the issue of imports and explores the fisheries sector in India in terms of output and growth. The author analyzes the trade data and looks at the trade with Norway as well as with the EU. She also discusses the tariff structure and trade potentials of processed products.
