This publication examines the economic, political and military relationship between Belarus and Russia, particularly in light of NATO expansion. The author argues that if Russia continues to speak in harmony with the US in the fight against international terrorism, this may have a detrimental effect on the process of military unification with Belarus. The publication concludes that the military aspect of cooperation between the two countries is on a different level from the political and economic.
