This study explores how the US helped Jordan maintain stability between 2011-2016 in the face of conflict in neighboring Syria, homegrown violent extremism, resource scarcity and more. In particular, the text’s authors 1) focus on what coordinated, collaborative or integrated approaches the US defense, development and diplomatic communities adopted to assist Jordan; and 2) draw lessons from this review to identify lessons learned on how the US should approach future complex crisis and equip individuals to share objectives in inter-agency environments.
