So, what’s the most effective way to reduce poverty – improve governance, eliminate communicable diseases, or enhance sanitation? This text’s authors conclude that for the period set for the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), incremental improvements in effective governance would have a greater impact on poverty reduction than the other two forms of intervention listed here.
