This publication presents figures and analyses on gender balance in multilateral forums on arms control, non-proliferation and disarmament. Based on extensive quantitative analysis, it shows that female diplomats are significantly underrepresented in these forums. The report also analyzes obstacles hindering the full and equal participation of women in disarmament and international security by outlining the views and reflections of diplomats on gendered patterns in the disarmament field.
