The Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance (DCAF) is a foundation that promotes good governance and the democratic reform and oversight of security sectors. It pursues these ends by providing in-country advisory support and practical assistance programs; developing and promoting norms, standards and best practices; conducting tailored policy research; and recommending ways to establish democratic security sector governance.
