The USA announced to terminate the INF-disarmament treaty with Russia. This treaty prohibits them from owning land-based atomic rockets and cruise missiles with a range between 500 and 5500 kilometres. US-President Trump is demanding a new agreement, which includes China. Political scientist Oliver Thränert suspects that Trump could also be concerned with his own new weapon systems. He is the head of the Think Tank at the Center for Security Studies at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich.
