This report 1) analyzes the potential threats to Europe’s critical space infrastructure, including by cyber-attacks; 2) assesses the broader space security issues the EU has to face as a satellite owner, diplomatic actor, and facilitator of European cooperation; and 3) suggests ways to improve European strategic thinking on space security, which could lead to improved space systems resilience, lower external dependencies, etc.
