This workshop report addresses the issue of intentional and malicious contamination of the food supply chain. The focus of the workshop is on the possibility of terrorists contaminating the chain and thus massively damaging public health. The report brings together the key findings of panels on food defense strategy, food chain security and inter-agency cooperation in the area. The report also outlines the findings of recent research in the field.
