This brief examines the state of the Nepalese economy and its political stability in light of the current economic crisis and with a focus on the investment climate in the country. The author outlines the challenges Nepal faces in creating an attractive business environment for foreign and domestic companies. For economic growth to continue, he argues, all stakeholders need to be brought together in strengthening the national government and the state apparatus, despite ongoing political turmoil.
