This paper comments on the shift in Pakistani public opinion against the Taliban, who according to the author is losing public sympathy in the country. He argues that the possibility of it turning into a socio-political movement like Hizbollah in Lebanon is highly unlikely. In fact, he contends, the Pakistani Taliban has evolved into a terrorist group.
