This report provides an overview of the risks and opportunities associated with Reduced Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation (REDD) for the rural poor in developing countries, with a particular emphasis on practical forestry options under REDD in the Least Developed Countries (LDCs). The author concludes his report by several recommendations.
