This issue of the Canadian Military Journal (CMJ) examines the debate over the role and organization of Canadian forces and their requirements to ensure national security in the aftermath of 9/11. It also reviews lessons from the 1994 Rwandan genocide to inform Canadian peacekeeping activities in Darfur. The authors discuss episodes from Canadian military history, which include crew sabotage during World War II and the development of military museums across Canada.
