These oral history interviews with high-ranking Polish army generals from the Warsaw Pact era provide a unique level of insight into the internal relations, organizational structure and strategic planning of the Polish army during the Cold War. Among the topics that are covered by the interview transcripts are the strategic role of Poland within the framework of the Warsaw pact, internal Warsaw Pact relations and tensions between Moscow and its allies.
