The third 'Peace Mediation Essential' on Dealing with the Past in Peace Mediation describes the conceptual framework and the most important international norms and standards regulating issues of dealing with the past. More importantly, it outlines the options for mediators how to address this issue in peace processes. It also contains key questions for mediators and guidelines for the design and the implementation of mediation activities.
