This report, co-produced with the Indonesian Institute of Sciences, looks at the roles of Indonesian women in conflict resolution, at the formal and informal levels. It highlights the key challenges women face both in conflict situations and in participating in formal peace processes, and provides recommendations on how to encourage their engagement. It will conclude with recommendations targeted at Indonesian local and central government, as well as key stakeholders, to encourage them to pay greater attention to the issues of women’s participation in peace processes and related fields.
