This issue of the Canadian Military Journal (CMJ) opens with a look at the Canadian Forces and the revolution in military affairs and operation "assurance" during the peace-time. Next it examines the naval capabilities of Canada and arms control and security policies for most of the Western states. It also discusses R&D initiatives in modelling and simulation for capability modernization of the Canadian air force. Finally, it explores the rebirth of aerial delivery and the German attempt to purchase Anticosti Island in 1937.
