This issue of the Canadian Military Journal (CMJ) opens with a look at the mature exercise of sovereignty and NORAD and its stand against possible terrorist attacks after the September attacks. Next it examines Canada and the issue of homeland security and civil control of the Canadian Forces. It also explores how Canada articulates officer corps by 2020 and aerospace power and leadership in relation to national sovereignty. Further it concentrates on missile defense developments occurring within NATO and the re-conceptualizing command and control. Finally, it discusses the great Canadian air battle during the Second World War.
