This briefing paper will tackle a few of the stumbling blocks to successful EU crisis management in Kosovo and address some questions. Why did the EU deploy a mission to Kosovo in the first place, and has it been able to achieve its goals? Where have the major bottlenecks occurred when it comes to ensuring the efficiency of the EULEX mission? In seeking to answer these questions, this paper will also propose a number of recommendations to the EU.
