The UN Secretary-General’s Advisory Group on Climate Change Financing aims to raise financial support in order to fund mitigation and adaptive activities in developing countries in the fight against climate change. While this might appear a noble way of dealing with Global Warming, there is a question over the sums of money involved, especially at a time when industrialized countries are struggling with economic uncertainty.
