This publication, the second in a series of three on comparative conflict management perspectives in Asia, analyzes India's lengthy peacemaking experience and highlight its diversity. The report focuses on three different conflicts - Kashmir, Manipur, and Andhra Pradesh. In doing so, it seeks to draw lessons which will be relevant to future peacemaking efforts in India and elsewhere, while also encouraging more comparative work on this issue.
