Should South Asian businesses move from the crowded markets in the old world or work to cultivate customers in the more dynamic and more rapidly growing economies in Asia? This brief places this question in the context of US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's speech, given in Hong Kong in July 2011, concerning the evolution of US thinking on Asia.
