This report reflects the discussions at a number of private meetings of the Nuclear Discussion Forum held from January to September 2011. The discussions revealed little evidence that nuclear weapon states will soon turn away from nuclear weapons. The Nuclear Discussion Forum was launched in 2011 by EWI and the Permanent Mission of Kazakhstan. The off-the-record meetings brought together UN Member States committed to working toward concrete nuclear nonproliferation initiatives and disarmament measures.
