This brief builds on the key findings of a CEPS study for the European Commission, on the activities of the the Asia-Pacific Partnership on Clean Development and Climate (APP). The APP provides a non-legally binding framework based on a public–private partnership to support projects towards clean development and climate objectives. The report also offers a recent update and recommendations to EU policy-makers where EU involvement could be the most effective in public–private initiatives.
