This brief examines the prospects for strengthening cooperation between Indonesia and India. More specifically, the author looks at Indonesia's role in India's policies and strategies in ASEAN, their potential to work together to promote democracy in Asia, how they face growing threats of terrorism, the promotion of higher education and cultural exchanges, as well as their defense and economic cooperation.
