This brief discusses the visit of Wen Jiabao to India in December 2010 to mark 60 years of diplomatic ties between the two countries. The authors argue that the success of the visit was limited to strengthening links of economic diplomacy between the two Asian giants, ignoring the geopolitical and strategic issues that act as destabilizers in Sino-Indian relations.
