This study provides insights into the conflict-management efforts in multiple capitals during and after the 2008 terrorist attacks in Mumbai. The authors focus on approaches and mechanisms adopted by US officials after the 2008 attacks, as they tried both to address terrorism-related issues and to steer India and Pakistan away from confrontation.
