This study looks at the effects of media coverage on company images and shows that a weak media presence can jeopardize corporate reputation. Media presence and assessment have a clear influence on the company's reputation; only companies that maintain strong relationships with their customers through highly popular products were able to revoke the media trend and defend their outstanding reputation in spite of a low presence.
