This article documents the state of youth organizations and civil society after the Tulip revolution in Kyrgyzstan and the response of the authorities. The author argues that the Tulip revolution gave the emerging civil society and various youth ideological circles, including ultra-nationalist groups, an impulse. The author concludes that the formation of civil society in Kyrgyzstan should be assisted.
