This paper looks into the process of internal migration from a perspective of land distribution in Kyrgyzstan. It analyzes the social and economic determinants of internal migration, depopulation and indiscriminate urbanization in Kyrgyzstan. It also examines the nature, scale, and ethnocultural repercussions of internal migration.
