This study explores significant catalysts for mass mobilization and the resulting dynamics visible in the Tulip Revolution in 2005 and the Kyrgyz uprising of April 2010. The two events are analyzed separately and the differences and similarities between the 2005 and 2010 uprisings are identified. The authors main hypothesis is that these two instances of mass mobilization are discrete processes but share some common features.
