This issue includes analytical articles and field reports on various themes in the Central Asia-Caucasus region in June 2004. The articles analyze Georgia's "Two Brothers" campaign in South Ossetia, the opening of Tajikistan-China border crossing, the export of caviar from Azerbaijian, and EU neighborhood policy toward the Caucasus. The field reports cover the law enforcement system against corruption in Kyrgyzstan, the trial of opposition leaders in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan's fears against Chinese "creeping expansion", and a triple holiday celebrated in Turkmenistan.
