This monograph focuses on the increasing importance of defense diplomacy in understanding the regional security architecture in Southeast Asia. It discusses defense diplomacy in the Southeast Asia and the wider Asia Pacific from the institutional, individual country-based, as well as great powers' perspective. The conclusion of the authors is that defense diplomacy has become an important tool for states' foreign and security policy to ensure regional stability.
