This study examines the settlement policies of Israel in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Specifically, it shows how these policies not only undermine the possibility of a two-state solution, but also go far beyond international legal standards. Fueling these problems is a political narrative that is far different from the one projected by the mainstream media and foreign policy circles – i.e., a narrative of ongoing struggle over land that is significantly detached from any ‘Peace Process’ measures.
