This commentary argues that the political entity North Korea, or more specifically the Kim Family Regime, is very rational in the sense that it knows what it wants and works tirelessly to achieve it. The author provides three reasons, why the people don't rebel: the "Juche" belief system, a strong security and control system; and the personal loyalty system.
