This report assesses political, security and economic issues that have arisen over the week in question (05-11 July 2012) in Libya. The election results and violent outbreaks, the International Monetary Fund’s announcement with regard to Libya’s economy and the decline of oil export due to protests are just three of the issues mentioned.
