This paper analyzes the newly established Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI). The author highlights the institute’s main premises, its designated core activities and aims as well as its structure and international construct. The analysis encompasses the political and economic context in which the organization is set to operate and fulfill its mission. It then asks (and answers) fundamental questions on the institute’s prospects of becoming a long term success.
