The issues discusses a wide range of issues related to Canada's defense forces and strategy, and broader international defense and strategic problems. As such, it reviews Canada's maritime strategy, developments in Canada's military leadership structure, the importance of language in NATO multi-national operations and the engagement of religious leaders in peacekeeping and peacebuilding operations. It also covers patriotism and allegiances of the French Canadian battalion in 1914-1918 and reviews several books.
