This brief summarizes the topics discussed at the Foreign Policy Research Institute's April 2012 “Energy, Environment and Security in Asia” conference. These include Japan's energy challenge in the post Fukushima era, the role of energy security in China's foreign policy, alternative energy development in Asia, and Asian interests in the Arctic region.
