This paper looks at the Chittagong Port, the largest port in Bangladesh, and its ability to handle increasing volumes of traded goods. The author argues that, while Chittagong Port has undergone noticeable improvements in handling containers and optimizing the use of facilities, further investments and development will be necessary for it to become a national hub and an economic gateway to Southeast Asia.
