This paper looks at the regional implications of the crisis in Syria. It suggests that the Syrian civil war seems to be increasing animosity between Sunni and Shite groups throughout the Middle East. The author argues that as the conflict in Syria continues, neighboring countries like Iraq are also moving toward civil war.
