This report describes the nature of cyber threats to oil and gas suppliers in the US and their potential costs. It argues that the number and sophistication of such attacks seems to be increasing. Furthermore, the potential damage that they can cause is growing. The report does contend that only a few state based or supported actors could use such attacks to cause widespread destruction. However, the authors believe that such capabilities will spread to others in time.
