This issue focuses on the prevention of torture in the Middle East and North Africa. The editor describes the publication as, aimed at creating a space through which activists and experts can exchange ideas, opinions and experiences about how to create torture free zones. The subjects covered include a police code of conduct in Lebanon, the UN Special Rapporteur on Torture on Commissions of Inquiry Report, and the prevention of torture in Tunisia.
