This paper argues that Northeast India could benefit from closer economic and cross-border links with Bangladesh and Myanmar. The author outlines the benefits and challenges of the proposed expansion of cross-border exchange and economic activity in this area and concludes that efforts should focus on those areas where cooperation is most likely to be achieved.
