Hassan Rouhani's election as the new President of Iran has unsurprisingly led to speculation about ending the Iranian nuclear imbroglio. This brief argues that a helpful first step would be for Iran to sign the IAEA Additional Protocol. It then examines this possibility in greater detail, along with contemplating the prospects for broader dialogue and the roles of the US and India might play within it.
