This paper does something rather clever -- it links the political protests that have occurred across the Middle East and North Africa with the widespread discontent that now exists over the mismanagement of large-scale sports organizations. In both cases, the brief argues, we see a lack of confidence in institutions that have failed to root out corruption and meet popular demands for justice, dignity and inclusiveness
